Run # 965 was a beautiful mountain trial on Big Mountain traversing a French bunker, the Gan Ray battery and the Torpedo Tunnels. Forty-Five happy hashers rolled up the home of the Hash the “Pacific Bia Tuoi” ready to go. After registrations were complete, we set off on our hash bikes to Pool 28 the start of the run. The chalk talk was delivered by Inna and with excitement we set off along the trail heading down Tran Phu turning up the lane to the school wall and heading up to the French bunker. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon as we climbed the side of the mountain, passing through the French bunker selfie time arrived. Pressing on we headed to the Gan Ray Battery where more selfies were taken, a group photo too before setting off to the Torpedo Tunnels. The trail back was as beautiful and the way up as we headed back to the French bunker, down by the school back to Tran Phu and on to the DD spot at Pool 28. In the brilliant after sunset we drank beer, the hashers swam into the pool, dancing to music, chatting and enjoying a great afternoon until the hash beer truck arrived, and we set off back to the home of the hash the Bia Toui – On On
