Run # 958 was on Nui Lon – Big Mountain – 28 happy hashers rolled up the home of the Hash the “Pacific Bia Tuoi” ready to go. After registrations were complete, the hashers mounted their hash motor bikes and headed to Hon Ru Ri where the bikes were parked. All set to go we headed up Hem 12 at Tran Phu walking up a very steep incline heading to the top of the road. We turned right up a steep set of stairs that lead to the temple near the French bunker, the East Eperon. Passing the bunker, we headed up Vibar in a belting hot sun and a steamy view as the rain evaporated side of the mountain from the road. Up Vibar we walked past the coffee shops the army base to the waterfall turn off, with a slight respite we headed down the waterfall trail across the side of the mountain. The weather had improved, and it was a beautiful as cloud cover masked the sun and the temperature dropped making it a great walk round the side of the mountain. Reaching the M90 and Power line trail intersection we headed right down to Viber making our way to the White house turn off. With a group photo taken at the White House next to the cannons we headed down to Tran Phu back to the bikes and headed back to the Bia Toui for the down down. With the usual gusto we ripped into the cold beer at the Bia Toui, ordered our chicken, calamari and French Fries for Frenchy and chatted the afternoon away, some hashers to the hash DJ’s music, danced and some drank the afternoon away – On On
