Run # 956 was a beautiful mountain trial at Nui Dinh ending at Soui Da rock pools.  – fifty-three happy hashers rolled up the home of the Hash the “Pacific Bia Tuoi” ready to go.  After registrations were complete, the hash bus was packed with beer, softies, food, we set off to collect our Russian hasher team at the Russian Village and headed out to Nui Dinh.  The chalk talk was delivered by Twenty-Three advising hashers to follow the green tape and smell the aroma of beer near the end for the trail and they had found the down down spot hahahah.   With excitement we set off down the stairs past the Nui Dinh Rock pool, up the other side through the small temple and off into the jungle.  The weather was brilliant with a little cloud cover and beaming sunlight as we headed up the mountain for a short period then commenced the decent with a steep drop down; clambering over rocks, sliding down mountain in the mud, slipping on wet leaves till we reached a rock ledge.  With a left turn we crossed the side of the mountain for 20 minutes then turned right and headed down to the temple.  With the sound of rushing water in the air we knew we were on the right track to Soui Da. Reaching a set of very old steps, we clambered down and entered the Buddhist temple where selfies we taken infront of the big Buddha statue prior to moving on down further the mountain.  We navigated the temple grounds, crossed a stone bridge and headed down further until we entered another temple where a group hash picture was taken in front of the large buddha statue, then traversing the Soui Da trail on to the rock pools.
Passing the rock pools one by one till we reached the main road; some hashers went swimming some wanted beer, so we headed on with haste to the down down spot.  The party commenced by guzzling the icy cold beer to cool down, eating our hash banh Mi, Trevor’s Indian curry and flowed up by fruit and more beer.  The circle commenced virgins were welcomes, returnees doused with beer and sinners which there were a few for new shoes were soaked in beer.  Music was provided by our hash DJ then the party got into full swing.  We danced and chatted the afternoon away for two hours, as the sun began to set the hashers piled into the hash bus with a full eskie of beer as we set off in the dusk back to the hash ho9me at the Bia Toui – On On
