This week’s run # 948 was on Big Mountain, with the down down at Pool 28, seventy-two happy hashers rolled up the home of the Hash the “Pacific Bia Tuoi”. After registrations were complete, we set off on our hash motorbikes to the start of the trail at Pool 28. On a beautiful day with a little cloud cover we traversed Tran Phu to hem 198, with gusto we ascended the steps in haste in a long line of 72 hashers. Quickly reaching the top of the steps we arrived at the French bunker, a group photo was hastily arranged then we set off long the side of the mountain. In the shade of the foliage we ambled along the trail before turning right ascending the mountain to the ridge line road. With glee we turned left and headed down to the Ganh Rai gun battery for more selfie shots and brief respite in the shade of the rotunda. We regrouped then headed off down the road turning left on the trail and head along the trail back to the French bunker and down to Tran Phu. With a slight cool breeze blowing combined with the pungent aroma of Sagota beer in the air, we raced along Tran Phu back to Pool 28. As usual we ripped into the icy cool Sagota beer, jumped into the swimming pool to cool off. The afternoon was enjoyed by the seventy-two hashers hogging two thirds of the swimming pool frolicking in the pool drinking Sagota beer and eating delicious food. But as usual when have great fun time went so fast, the group photo was taken, the circle ensued, but in a lighter format than usual, as not to annoy the other punters enjoy the afternoon. Suitably lubricated, full of food prepared by Pool 20 staff, soaking wet form swimming and being doused in beer it was time for the hashers to return home as the sun began to set in the late afternoon – On On
