This week’s run # 942 was on Long Hai mountain, forty-eight hashers rolled up at the home of the Hash the “Pacific Bia Tuoi”. With the hash bus loaded with excited hashers, we set off to the Russian village to collect the Russian team waiting there. The weather was great a fine sunny day with a little cloud made a great day to walk the mountain. The trail at Long Hai was new trail, with a short walk we reached a long set of steps that took us up halfway up the mountain, then we ambled along a path that led us to the top of the mountain. With the obligatory selfies taken a well-earned rest, we set off down the path turning right down the side of the mountain, slipping and sliding down at a fast pace bumping over large rocks we finally reach an abandoned house. Further selfies ensued in the beautiful afternoon weather, after everyone was finished taking pictures, we set off through a rather large orchard which provided a beautiful serene walk through the orchard along long path in the afternoon sun. We reached the down down spot and with the usual gusto icy cold beers were guzzled, banh mi whoofed down with tasty sandwiches, beef stew was provided by Captain Morgan and all finished off with Fruit. Music played, hashers danced, the children went fishing and selfies were taken in the picturesque gardens. But time went so fast, the group photo was taken, the circle ensued and then it was time to return home as the sun began to set in the late afternoon – On On
