Wow suddenly we find out on Saturday morning that we can hash in accordance with the latest government rules, with a maximum of twenty hashers.  So quickly we contacted the hashers, set the trail, Sunday came and at 1:25pm the hashers arrived on their hashmobile’s at Mr. Ket.  With everyone present we set off eagerly up Hi Dang road, straight on to the Lighthouse coffee shop, up higher to the army road, and with a 180 degree turn executed safely we motored on to the coffee shop, to the start of the trail.  With all bikes parked we set off in the hot sun climbing  up the mountain side, reaching a large wall built of rocks, we climbed on the top and set off indian file along the wall to Hi Dang road. Once on Hi Dang road again we headed to the radio station building, on to the coffee shop with great views, then after climbing the railing we descended down to the lower level of Hi Dang road.  Down we went enjoying the respite as gravity took us down the road lower and lower, passing the army base which is the old French Bunker gun position named Cable Battery. we turned left and ascended a set of 100 year old steps that led to the French officer quarters now a ruin.  With a little help from each other we reached the army road,  did a right turn and headed back to the coffee shop for the down down.  The beer was icy cold, softies frozen we enjoyed the great view of Vung Tau, enjoying the fried chicken wings, barbequed sausages and crispy French fries, whilst gulping down the icy cold delicious beer as we watched the sun setting – On On
