This week’s run 934 on Small Mountain started at Uno Coffee where 15 mask clad hashers registered for the corona run, as it was most probably the last run before the lockdown was commence.  Armed with that knowledge the excited hashers set off along Ha Long road, turned left into the small laneway adjacent to Uno Coffee and climbed the steps ready to ascend the mountain on the first leg.  In the hot baking sun, listless wind, the hashers commenced the climb up the steep dry slippery slope, steadily inching their way up to the old house, turning left they sauntered off along the side of the small mountain.  After a few grunts and groans, sweat building we scrambled over the rocks, up the very steep slope and arrived at the army road.  After a brief but well earned, rest the hashers set off along the army road to the steps leading to the derelict house. Within minutes we reached the house where it was selfie time, a moment to enjoy the cool breeze, and again we set off to the rubbish tip steps and the decent back to the army road.  The path down to ha Long was steep, we slithered down the side of the dry mountain skidding along, dodging trees, rocks and each other, until we reached the Lehman Hotel where the path settled down into a flattish easy walk, with glee we soon reached the Uno Coffee laneway steps and descended.  The walk was great, with careful attention paid to social distancing, keeping a regulated 2 meters apart at all times and wearing our VTCH3 masks.  Uno was closed we mounted our hash mobiles and headed off to a quiet cool place to enjoy or icy chilled Sagota beer and refreshing food wondering when will the lock down be over so we can hash again on the next run – On On
