Big Mountain – Thompson’s House

Run 932 on Big Mountain was a great trail, a warm sunny day with slight cloud cover, a perfect day to Hash.  After registration at our base Uno coffee the hashers then proceed to the Thompson’s House where the DD was held and the start of the trail.  The hashers departed the Thompson’s house proceed up the road and turned off the road on to the mountain side, we climbed to peak of the mountain over rocks, through the tree line until we reached Bendig gun battery,  after a brief rest and some cooling water, we proceeded down to the mountain side passing though the Cambodian temple, with it beautiful statues, down the steps to the road, where we weaved our way back to the Thompson’s house to the Down Down.  We drank ice cold Sagota beer supplied by our sponsor, enjoyed freshly delivered Banh Mi, partied and danced to live music, by 5:30pm  the 8 crates of Sagota beer had ran out so time to head home until the next run – On On
