Long Hai – Nui Dinh Road

Date: 02/02/2020
Hares: Slipper, Flying Finn
CircleMaster: Boozer
Harriers: 74

Run 926 this week was on Nui Dinh mountain 74 happy hashers arrived at Uno Coffee our base and departed on two buses for the start of the trail.  After a short forty minute bus ride we arrived at the turn off to the temple.  The hashers alighted the buses and a short chalk talk given by Flying Finn, then we were off on the run.  Up the steps we went, on and on we went, up the 740 steps till we reached the temple two thirds of the way up the mountain side.  Selfie time was the order of the day at the temple, after numerous pictures were taken the hashers moved on passing through the temple climbing the mountain to the lookout we have visited before on a Soui Da trail, once again selfie time.  The weather was great a cool breeze blowing at the lookout cooled hashers down, but time to head down the mountain passing through three more temples on the 2 kilometer walk to Nui Dinh road.  Down Down time, Sagota beers were opened, hashers imbibed, softies we consumed by the juniors whilst enjoying fresh banh mi.  Radio Wave had his camera at the ready taking many pictures, the hash banner was hung on the bus and the party rolled on.  Circle time came 74 hashers on one side of the road to avoid passing cars and motorbikes and the CircleMaster Boozer on the other side of the road.  A great time was had by all, dancing, chatting and enjoying the setting sun in a serene location on the mountain, but 5:30pm approached and it was time to board the two buses and head for home – On On
